This Village Sanctuary has been lovingly rebuilt in the footprint of the family home that stood on the land over 100 years ago and belonged to the family who now run the Sanctuary. The wonderful old Portuguese house has been lovingly recreated complete with the gazebo, the original working well and the family chapel. It sits in a lush green landscape surrounded by trees and close to the Nalla (natural flowing spring).

The house has been furnished with original antique Goan furniture and makes use of the very best Indian and Portuguese craftsmanship to create a place of utmost simplicity and beauty.
