The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who is of no value to him.

- Ann Landers

Goa in the State of Maharastra covers an area of 3,702 sq. km is a well known tourist destination. It is loved because of its unique combination of food, landscapes, weather and Portuguese influence.

Its population consists of 65% Hindus, 30% Christians and 5% Muslims and other religions. More often than not, Goans uniquely consider themselves as Goan first and a Hindu, Christian or Muslim afterwards.

Goans have a great respect for each others faith and religion and the best evidence of this is seen in quite a few places of worship in Goa, where both Hindus and Christians go together.
